Colour has the power to lift the spirits and bring joy.

In my art I try to create a sense of vibrancy.

“ Your colours are almost like a frequency in sound.. when you just hear something and it resonates ..but in colour.”

The small to medium-sized wood panels I work on are not only great to handle but they allow the image I’m creating to extend and wrap around the four sides.

Every piece is created from a journey of emotions and ideas. For the initial mark making I write words as they come to me. In this way every piece has its own origin and energy.

I then layer and texture the piece with acrylics and crayons until I feel the “dialogue” is resolved in some way.

Using this intuitive process brings me great joy.
